THE FOLLOWING IS A CHECKLIST TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU COMPLETE EVERYTHING THAT YOU NEED TO DO TO APPLY TO THE COLLEGE OF YOUR CHOICE.
Step 1: Complete the application. Colleges prefer and highly encourage electronic applications.
Step 2: Send your ACT/SAT test scores. You can request that scores be sent to four colleges at the time of test registration for free. There is a fee to send scores after you have taken the test.(ACT fee is $12 and SAT fee is $17). Scores can be sent by accessing actstudent.org and/or collegeboard.com. *You can send your scores before you complete the college application.*
***If you are planning to attend a Technical College, you will need to take the ACCUPLACER.**
Step 3: Send your transcript.All transcript requests must be made through Parchment. Transcripts are free for all current students.
Step 4: Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA).
*Some colleges, universities, and scholarship programs use the CSS profile as part of their financial aid process*
